Charleston Heights Arts Center

Charleston Heights Arts Center is a haven for art lovers. Almost every type of art is showcased here. It is one of the busiest entertainment complexes in Las Vegas.

The cultural affairs division of the city's Department of Parks and Leisure organizes a variety of shows in the Center's three venues, most of which feature local and regional artists. You can view a local sculptor display his or her talent in the art gallery. You can see their sublime sculptures as they breathe life into their creations. You can also watch a klezmer band performing in the ballroom and a chamber music concert on the proscenium stage of the 375- seat theater. This was the first cultural center to enact theatrical productions in the Spanish language bringing to the forefront its rich cultural heritage.

Many scheduled events are free and those that charge admission usually keep the ticket price under . Every spring and autumn the art gallery is transformed into a movie theater, where patrons can take in a series of documentaries and foreign films.
