Las Vegas Natural History Museum is a boon to kids and adults alike. It vividly brings to life the ages gone by. It also showcases the raw, untamed glories of nature. History comes alive in the form of animated exhibits, live animals and rare animal mounts.
The pre- historic gigantic dinosaur which once roved the earth and ruled over it, has been realistically recreated. Children are excited at the site of the awe- striking 35 feet Tyrannosaurus Rex. For lovers of marine life there is a 3000 gallon tank filled with live sharks, one of the most dangerous inmates of the sea. The African room recreates the magnificent Savanna and torrid lush green rain forest. You can view the glories of Nevada in the room bearing its name which showcases plants and wildlife of this arid region. There is a young Scientists Center where kids can interact with the displays.
