Roy's restaurant bears the stamp of chef Roy Yamaguchi's unique personality. He was the first chef to fuse European cooking techniques with fresh local ingredients found in Asia and the Pacific Rim.

He pioneered the unique "Hawaiian Fusion" cuisine drawing from his childhood memories of the flavors of Hawaii. In 1984 he opened his own restaurant in Los Angeles called 385 North.

As testimony to his success, there are now 31 Roy's, including 22 in the Continental US, 6 in Hawaii, 2 in Japan and 1 in Guam. Early in his career he has been bestowed with the prestigious James Beard "Best Pacific Northwest Chef" award.

Yamaguchi has also hosted six seasons of the PBS- TV show, Hawaii Cooks with Roy.

Roy Yamaguchi's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine blends fresh local ingredients with European sauces and bold Asian spices, always with a focus on seafood. Each evening you'll find a tantalizing range of appetizers, entrées, fresh fish dishes and desserts.
