Bonnie Springs Ranch Old Nevada effectively recreates the rugged untamed wild west── a place full of damsels in distress and cowboys who shot at the least provocation. It is a replica of a 1800s mining town built on a 115 acre Bonnie Springs resort. A 30 minutes drive from the city of Las Vegas, will bring you back to the past.
It is famed actor John Wayne's country.
The place is replete with saloons, tumbleweeds, stagecoaches and even a Boot Hill Cemetery. It vividly brings the wild west to life.
The whole family can enjoy this place including your kids. There is a petting zoo, cowboys and cowgirls, a miniature train ride and on weekends and holidays, a "posse" show where the kids can even help track down the villain.
It simulates gunfire in the rough streets and even has a public hanging with the figure of a stuntman swaying in the breeze. There is a wax museum with figures from our frontier history, great homemade meals at the restaurant, a beautiful 1800's style chapel which is great for weddings, conventions facilities and plenty of shopping for those looking for turquoise, silver and other western souvenirs.
